Hillsborough International Oyster Festival
30 August - 4 September
The 24th festival returns with another packed programme of food, fun and festivities including the famous World Oyster Eating Championship.
The biggest evening in Belfast’s cultural calendar returns to transform the spaces and places of the city centre and beyond on Friday 16 September with a packed programme of events including tasters, tours, talks, trails, demonstrations, activities and gigs.

2016 Belfast Tattoo at SSE Arena
1st- 3rd September
The 2016 Belfast Tattoo will have a packed line-up of over 600 international, as well as local, performers. It's sure to be a spectacular event, with the unforgettable sights and sounds of the Grand Finale of the Massed Pipes and Drums. If you enjoy the spectacle and playing of bagpipes, drums, brass, flute and accordion bands, precision marching, the style and grace of Highland and Irish dancers as well as exciting displays from European performers, this is an event not to be missed!
BBC Good Food Show NI - Belfast Waterfront
14th- 16th October
With a strong focus on regional producers, visitors to the show will be able to delve into the wealth of fantastic produce that Northern Ireland has to offer. The Food NI Pavilion gives visitors the opportunity to discover, taste and buy from these producers first hand. This area of the show is a must-visit spot for any food fan wanting to improve their knowledge of the Northern Irish food scene.
Christmas Continental Market - Belfast City Hall
19th November- 22nd December
Enjoy the festive buzz as Belfast City Hall hosts the return of the Continental Market for 2016. As well as enjoying many stalls selling their wares from around Europe, you can enjoy all the culinary delights including Spanish Paella, giant Bratwurst, French tarts and Belgian chocolates washed down with a stein of German beer from the much- visited beer tent.
