The Irish Open, 6-9 July
Returning to Northern Ireland this summer hosted by Portstewart Golf Club, one of the country's finest links courses, set on the stunning Causeway Coast. This will be the third time in six years, the Irish Open has been held in Northern Ireland. Tournament host Rory McIlroy will return to defend his title.
Women's Rugby World Cup 2017- 22 & 26 August
The Women's Rugby World Cup comes to Ireland this summer with a tournament of 12 teams. The semi-finals will both be hosted in Belfast's Kingspan Stadium, home of Ulster Rugby. For tickets and information, see rwcwomens.com
